Lost Tools of Writing

In this fun and exciting 15 Session class students will become power persuasive writers.

In-Person Classes

Each week students gather, interact with a lesson, collaborate, and demonstrate writing principles. Class time is a great time for sharing papers and giving positive peer reviews. Discussion-based lessons and memorable demos make in-person learning fun and exciting.

Due to the changes in 2020. No live classes are auto-scheduled. Please reach out to request or set up a live class for your student, co-op, or learning POD.

IEW U.S. History-Based Writing - Part 2

Part 2 of this course will cover Structure Units 6-9 of writing and integrate elements of Style. We will be using the IEW U.S. History-Based Writing for exciting and engaging source texts to develop writing skills and learn history!

IEW Medieval History-Based Writing Part 1

IEW Ancient History-Based Writing - Part 1

IEW UNIT 1&2 - Outlining & Writing Paragraphs

In just 4 Session learn and master how to outline from a source and write a paper in your own words. Perfect for beginners or anyone starting IEW.

IEW UNIT 3 - Writing Short Stories

In just 4 sessions, students will learn to write short stories. We will focus on the basic elements of any story; Characters/Setting, Plot/Conflict, Climax/Resolution.

IEW UNIT 4 - Short Essays

In just 4 Session students will learn to outline from larger text, summarize and write content in their own words. Title and Clincher sentences will be practiced to provide clarity.

IEW Ancient History-Based Writing - Part 2

Part 2 of this course will cover Structure Units 6-9 of writing and integrate elements of Style. We will be using the IEW ANCIENT History-Based Writing for exciting and engaging source texts to develop writing skills and learn history!

IEW UNIT 7- Inventive Writing & the 5 Paragraph Model

Students will write a 5 paragraph essay on the topic of their choice. Including introduction, conclusion, and 3 topics.

IEW UNIT 5 - Creative Writing From Pictures

Have fun learning to write and think outside of the box... I mean picture! This creative writing unit continues the IEW program with learning to ask yourself quality questions and create lively content.

IEW UNIT 4 - Short Essays
